JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a senior UX/UI designer you will define the user experience, flows, interaction patterns, and the interface for our external facing products. You will collaborate across engineering, QA, product, and marketing to assure the solutions align with user needs and business goals. This position is fully remote, but you must be located and authorized to work in the U.S. The ideal candidate is a proactive, passionate, creative, yet pragmatic design doer, mentor, and leader.

Your day to day include

Establish and maintain a design process, making recommendations for new patterns and standardized practices
Lead design sessions, customer journey exercises, brainstorming, mentoring sessions with co-workers and interns
Oversee all design elements, from conception to final delivery
Compile user flows, wireframes, mockups, prototyping ideas and present them to stakeholders
Regularly participate in Agile ceremonies including daily scrum, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Must have skills

7+ years design experience and a minimum of 2 years in a senior role
Fluent in modern design tools: Figma or equivalent design application experience
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills
User-centered design thinking, UX/UI principles, and interaction design
Experience in React, Typescript, and Data VisualizationWillingness to take on a wide range of responsibilities
Ability to be self-driven and work with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a team setting

Preferred skills

Experience designing for SaaS web applications
Experience working in the healthcare industry
Proficiency in Web standards HTML5/CSS3/JavaScriptExperience with programming or using REST API’sTechnical background with knowledge of the SMTP protocol and TLS encryption
Experience working remotely in a fast-paced startup environment
