JOB DESCRIPTION:
We’re looking for a design leader to work with our team and help us build the next generation of search infrastructure powered by AI/ML. Our managed vector database provides customers with easy-to-use capabilities that until now have only been in the hands of a few tech giants. The demand for vector databases is growing incredibly fast, and it shows in our user base. We have a large audience of ML engineers, software engineers, data scientists, and software architects who are eager to learn and build with our product.
You will be Pincone’s first design hire. As a product designer you will work closely with product and engineer teams to create end-to-end user experiences. Beyond immediate project deliverables, you'll be responsible for founding our design culture, creating design systems, and shaping our vision.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to produce finished figma designs
Identify and advocate for opportunities to improve our user experience
Work with product to plan for both short and long-term projects
Qualifications
Proficiency with Figma
5+ years working as a designer
Experience as a design leader as an individual contributor or manager
A portfolio of showcasing your design process
