Zipdev’s co-founders, Mike Lenny and Daniel Altenburg, first met while living in Lima, Peru, where they earned each other’s trust playing rugby and traveling around Latin America together. Zipdev was born after they had both moved back to San Diego, when Mike asked Daniel for help finding solid software engineers to help develop an app he wanted to build.
Requirements
8+ years of experience as a QA engineer or similar role in Enterprise SaaS industry
2+ years in Technical Leadership
Preferred experience:
Javascript/Typescript
Cucumber
Angular/Node.js
RESTful services
Jenkins
Factors that contribute to success in this role:
Development, documentation and execution of automated test creation using CucumberJS - Protractor or Webdriver.js
Familiar with BDD practices and principles
Comfortable in pushing quality practices within QA, DEV, and PM
Working knowledge in creating and interpreting REST API calls
Development of performance tests using Jmeter and similar tools
Agile software development experience in delivering automation within a sprint
Diagnosing and solving complex problems as well as providing detailed technical analysis
Mentor and provide guidance to QA Engineers
Principal driver of BDD practices across QA, DEV, and PM.
