Core responsibilities:
Own and set the design direction of the product
Translate user pain and customer problems into intuitive and elegant design solutions
Combine core design principles with individual creativity to bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design problems
Apply b2c design philosophies to b2b software with a mantra that beautiful design can help differentiate a product and win a market
Leverage design as a way to communicate the vision, roadmap, and future state of the product
Architecture and implement new designs as well as optimize existing designs
Create initial low res wireframes, high fidelity mock-ups and interactive prototypes for presentation and feedback prior to implementation
Interviews users, collect input, analyze activity, and incorporate feedback into final design products
Desired qualifications:
5+ years of relevant design experience
Prior experience launching software-as-a-service products in fast-paced start-up environments
Proven success designing and optimizing high-quality product experiences in B2C or B2B saas platforms
Demonstrated mastery of ui/ux interaction, design principles, and deliverables
Expertise in rapid prototyping, concept diagrams, user scenarios, wireframes, flows, experience maps, design patterns and annotated comps.

Referenceable portfolio of prior work
Experience with material design
Experience with Balsamiq, Figma, JIRA, Mixpanel, and Productboard a plus
