As a Motion Graphic Designer on the Creative team, you will be responsible for supercharging marketing initiatives and product storytelling through the creation of engaging motion designs. Our perfect candidate will bring innovative perspectives and a strong motion skill set to the table, while adhering to and supporting the evolution of our brand guidelines. Reporting directly to the Creative Director and working closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the Go-to-Market and Marketing teams, you will have an opportunity to own a wide variety of projects that expand your skills and develop new ones in a fast-growing business.

Create engaging graphics for use in motion designs that achieve strategic product and marketing goals.
Conceptualize moodboards, storyboards, and refined deliverables to convey complex event industry topics and RainFocus values.
Collaborate with stakeholders to source, edit, and manage audio and video assets.
Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
Craft and support visual storytelling, video scripts, and narrative creative solutions.
Manage multiple projects at a time with the highest quality of standards while remaining organized and meeting deadlines.
Collaborate with team members to achieve positive outcomes based on feedback and various perspectives.
Stewardship of our brand standards and maintain consistency through motion projects.
Assist in the continued development and evolution of the RainFocus brand through collaboration with graphic designers and the creative director.

Required Skills and Experience
A portfolio demonstrating a range of strong motion design, video editing, and conceptual skills. Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be reviewed.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in motion or animation design.
2-4 years’ motion design experience at an in-house or agency environment.
Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Knowledge and experience in animation and design principles.
Experience collaborating across departments and with content writers to create engaging motion concepts.
Experience with videography, 3D graphics/animation, and event branding are a plus.
Strong communication and presentation skills to propose creative solutions and ideas.
Be highly organized and able to prioritize multiple projects in a timely manner.
